What is a service robot?
A machine built to perform a specific trade task — pressure washing, protective coatings, solar panel cleaning, or drone-based cleaning — in place of or alongside a human crew member.
Do I need robotics experience to get started?
No. Most businesses we talk to have never used robotics before. That's exactly what the Assessment consulting tier is for.
Do you work with businesses outside the United States?
Yes, we work with everyone. Pricing for international consulting differs — contact us for a quote.

How much does equipment cost?
It depends on the robot and the deal. Equipment is sourced through our distributor network and quoted per request rather than listed publicly. See Equipment for the full lineup.
Does ServiceBots sell drone cleaning robots?
Yes — drone cleaning is one of our four equipment categories, alongside pressure washing, protective coatings, and solar panel cleaning.
Can I buy equipment without consulting?
Yes. Consulting is optional, though most first-time buyers pair equipment with an Assessment to make sure it's the right fit before purchasing.
Tiers, cost, and commitment.
How is the Assessment priced?
$150/hr, billed as used. Most assessments run 1–2 hours of consultation time plus the written recommendation.
What does the Implementation tier include?
A flat $3,000 plus travel and lodging, covering two days of install and training, workflow redesign, and 90 days of check-ins.
Do I have to start with the Assessment?
No — if you already know which robot you want, you can move straight to Implementation.
What's the minimum commitment for the Partner tier?
Six months, billed monthly. It's built for operators managing robots across more than one site. Full breakdown on the Consulting page.
What actually happens, and when.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on the robot and your schedule. Some businesses move from first call to a working robot in a matter of weeks; others take longer if equipment lead times are involved. See the full timeline.
What if I decide not to move forward after the Assessment?
That's completely fine. The Assessment is a standalone engagement with no obligation to continue to Implementation.
